The Association has a long-standing commitment to standards. It has developed and manages Accreditation Schemes for manufacturers of paper-based, plastic-based, and cotton-based products and cleaning chemicals and for distributors of cleaning and hygiene products. The Schemes are underpinned by independent inspection. The CHSA also has a rigorous Code of Practice is signed by all members on joining the Association.

The Code of Practice and Accreditation Schemes guarantee CHSA members:

  • Trade ethically and sustainably;
  • Provide quality, fit for purpose products; and
